The Kingdom is Love.

God gave us emotions, but not all of the emotions we grew up with are from God.

Many of our emotions were passed down to us from the old nature!

Anxiousness, Worry, Jealousy, Lust, Hate, Selfishness, Revenge, Drama ! !!!

Have you noticed all the crazy Drama that the world seems to thrive on???

The  need to get even! Eye for an Eye , Tooth for a Tooth!!

You know what I mean..

The old attitude of do unto others before they do it to you !!

But the truth is .., If its not Love its not God.

Why? Because

God is Love.

And if your born of God  and its not Love then its really not who you are.

You were created in the image of God who is Love and Love always Loves, thats what Love does because thats Loves nature and thats your new nature in Christ.

Our God given emotions are now governed by Love, not Selfishness and Jealousy,  but Love.

1 Corinthians 3:3

Ask yourselves: Is there jealousy among you?

Do you compare yourselves with others?

Do you quarrel like children and end up taking sides?

If so, this proves that you are living your lives centered on yourselves, dominated by the mind-set of the flesh, and behaving like unbelievers.

Do you see it ??   All these crazy bad emotions are a byproduct of self centeredness which was passed down to us from Adam .. through the old nature

The good news is that we no longer have an old nature, but we have a brand new nature in Christ! old things have passed away and all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17

so now  we are free to live out of our new nature which is created in Christ and not the old man!

The Old Man is dead and Gone !!! Romans 6:6

Today we put off the Old and Put on the New!

This is really speaking of a new mindset.

Our biggest problem today is not in our Spirit, but it’s between our two ears!

The new is who you really are now in Christ..

Listen to how paul says it.

My old identity has been co-crucified with Messiah and no longer lives; for the nails of his cross crucified me with him.

And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me-we live in union as one!

My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, and dispenses his life into mine! Galatians 2:20

My new Identity today is Love.

Love is my new nature and my response is always to be Love.
