Your Favorite Country ?

 

What’s your favorite Country ? 

Someone asked me the other day what my favorite country was? and to be honest In my spirit nothing really came to me. I mean nada , zip , zero 

Shocking to say .. It wasn’t even the good ole USA 🇺🇸....

Although  I do enjoy  living in this country, but it really was not the thing that caused my heart to leap for joy.. 

And to be honest .. I almost felt guilty about it ..

Until the Holy Spirit showed me why in 

Hebrews 11:13-16 

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and 

confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 

For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. 

And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. 

But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. 

Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them. Hebrews 11:13-16

This present world system and government is fading fast and passing away .. 

The reason my heart did not leap for joy about a present earthly country  is because of the faith that is persuading my heart to take hold of another country ! A heavenly country that is coming to earth .. 

soon and very soon we are going to see the king!

Remember .. Jesus said for us to agree with God about His kingdom? 

His kingdom coming to earth as it is in heaven ?

Remember ? every kingdom that can be kingdom will be shaken ? 

All is being dissolved and a new being established? 

Hebrews 12 tells us who’s voice to listen too. 

See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. 

For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, 

saying,  listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying 

Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.

Now this, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. 

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, 

let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:25-29 

We really do need to understand that everything that can be shaken is being shaken .. that includes the good ole USA 🇺🇸.. 

We are piligrims passing through ... we are in this world but not of it .. 

There is a new world coming .. the red, white and blue will not be flying over it .. 

This may come as a shock , but God is not an American.. God is our Father ..

Now if anyone reads this as me being anti American.. then you are missing the point .. 

What does God’s Word say about the world system?

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 

For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world. 

And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:15-17 

We need to understand.. that yes we are living in a great country but as great as it is .. it does not pale to the country that is soon to come .. 

It’s passing away . Our heart  is to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.. ....
