Get off the Hamster Wheel.

Rest is key to Receiving all that God has already given to us in Christ .
The main reason that many of Gods people do not enjoy all that God has already given them in Christ, is because they refuse to enter into His Rest.
Rest believes that " It is finished"
Many Christians today, are still on the religious hamster wheel of trying to kill, what has already been crucified (Romans 6:6) (Galatians 2:20) and trying to become, what God has already created them to be in Christ ( 2 Corinthians 5:17).
Many Christians begin in grace, but are now trying to perfect themselves on the hamster wheel of their own fleshly performance.
Galatians 3:3. The Apostle Paul calls this a very foolish way of living.
Hebrews 3:19 says "So we see that because of their unbelief they were not able to enter his rest."
Gods people wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, when they could have been relaxing in the promised land of Gods provision.
I wonder today how many Christians today are like the wilderness wanderers?
They live their entire lives, struggling and striving, walking around in circles of unworthiness, instead of resting and relaxing, they are full of false condemnation, guilt and despair, instead of being filled with confident expectation of hope, they are filled with a lingering sense of fear, judgment and condemnation.
Did you know that when we attempt to earn or achieve, what can only be received as a gift by faith, its called unbelief? and it will always lead to failure and condemnation.
Did you know to fall from Grace does not necessarily mean to fall into sin, but it really means to turn from resting and receiving, back to the law of striving and achieving ?
To Rest and Receive all that God has already freely given to us in Christ, is what it really means to be "Obedient to the Faith"

Romans 5:17 says " It is only by receiving the abundance of Gods grace and the gift of righteousness that we will ever be able to reign in this life and  If you aint resting, then you aint reigning !

Today its time to boldly Go where few have Relaxed before ! Its time to cease from our own works and enter into His Rest. Its time to fully believe Jesus ! and His finished work.
Its time to Rest in what Christ has already Finished ! Its time to sell the Hamster wheel.
