Does God Pick and Choose?

Remember this scene from the Toy Story? The claw reaches down and picks the one toy out of all
the rest and says " Ive been chosen!"
Does God predetermine who will be saved and who will not be saved?
What does the Bible mean , when it says "Many are called , but few are chosen?" Matthew 22:14
Does this scripture really mean that God goes down the line, picking and choosing, who will spend eternity with Him and who will not ?
The short answer is Absolutely NOT! God has created us all and has a wonderful plan for us all, God loves us all and desires all to be saved, to enjoy eternity with Him.
God did not send His Son into the world to save some, but to save all!
Jesus didn't die for some, Jesus died for all!
God desires that none perish, but all came to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9
Romans 10:13-16 says "whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
But notice what verse 16 says "But they have not all obeyed the gospel"
God does not pick and chose some for salvation, He picks all for salvation, but the reality is that not everyone will respond to the good news, not all will respond to the call or they will try and come in another way except through Jesus Christ and the finished work of the cross.
Matthew 22 says "all were invited to the wedding, but not all responded, many made light of the invitation to come and there was one who even tried to come in without a wedding garment on.
In other words there are some who are ignoring the call, making light of it and there are some who are trying to come in another way, on their own terms!, but its clear in scripture, that there is no other way to come to the Father except through Jesus.
Jesus said " I am the way the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
The only way to have a wedding garment on is not by faith in what you do for God, but its through faith in what Christ has already done for you.
The wedding garment represents receiving the abundance of Gods grace and the gift of righteousness, through faith in the blood and the finished work of Christ Romans 5:17.
God tells us in James 2:1 ,that we should never be a respecter of persons, that we should not pick and choose, who we will accept and not accept. Now, do you think that God will tell us to do one thing and than do another Himself ? No!
The truth is that God is no respecter of persons, He chooses all, but not everyone chooses Him.
